can you please provide advice on how to keep the rows straight? i seem to keep having trouble with keeping the stitches even and they keep making everything crooked. how can i keep things looking right for this stitch?

I have been working up random swatches of different stitches and squares to cobble together in a sampler granny square blanket. At this rate about half of it will be your stitches 😅

I keep getting deep "strip looking" ridges all throughout the scarf instead of it looking like yours. I don't know what I'm doing wrong after I finish the 1st row. Am I supposed to repeat the 2nd row all throughout the scarf until the end after completing the 1st row once?

Made the macys washcloth yesterday (finished it this morning) and now gonna make this! Probably the rustic farmhouse washcloth next :) I am on a washcloth pattern “tasting” spree haha!

I’m making a crochet curtain in white and this looks fast and fun. It will let the light in but provide some privacy to my garden apartment.
